The sculptural forms make a strong impact on a dining table or window sill and the shiny polished surface reflects the light, giving a real sense of movement to the pieces.
Danish-born Helle Damkjær approaches her designs with in a very particular manner, creating each piece meticulously in clay to ensure the exact shape she wants, before transferring it to the real material. This allows her work to have a distinctive warmth and softness in form which goes some way to explain the universal success of her Bloom collection for Georg Jensen.
