I’ve worked my styling magic on 4 key garments: a sequin skirt, printed dress, velvet jumpsuit and a pair of black trousers (with extra sparkle, naturally). Team these with wardrobe staples including a camel coat, velvet blazer and cosy jumper then add accessories for the finishing festive touch.

The Skirt
Nothing says festive dressing like a sequin, but don’t just save them for ‘best’. Make every day sparkle with this sequin pencil skirt by Reiss and wear with knitwear and boots by day and silky blouses or velvet by night.

The Dress
