Richly aromatic and complex, this Pinot Noir reveals floral, ripe cherry, oak spice, and mocha notes on the nose. The palate is succulent with red berry depth and fine tannins, supported by elegant acidity and a long, balanced finish. Brassknocker is the distinctive soil found at McArthur Ridge vineyard, situated on ancient glacial moraine terraces in Alexandra, Central Otago. The cool climate and gently sloping terrain create ideal conditions for premium Pinot Noir production. McArthur Ridge was established in 2006, building on the legacy of James McArthur who settled in the Waikerikeri Valley around 1870. Today, the vineyard is recognised among the world's finest for Pinot Noir, delivering wines of exceptional character and complexity.
