The Cast Iron Square Grillit® can reach a high heat on a low to medium setting, you can seal your food quickly and lock in the moisture, nutrients and flavours, producing succulent tasty meals.
The grill is coated with Le Creuset’s specialist satin black enamel finish. Durable and easy to clean, the satin black enamel interior has been especially designed to protect the pan (no seasoning is required) and is ideal for searing and grilling foods such as meat, fish and vegetables.
Over time, it develops a natural patina that is ideal for searing and frying. The Square Grillit® is suitable for use on all hob types, including induction, in the oven to 260°C and under the grill, requiring only low to medium heat settings to cook with. Individually cast in sand moulds and hand crafted at the original French foundry since 1925.

- Remove all packaging and labels. Wash the pan in hot, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Medium or low heat will provide the best results for cooking, including frying and searing. Le Creuset Silicone tools or wooden/heat resistant plastic tools are recommended.
- For best results, use appropriately sized ring for even cooking and to reduce risk of damage to product.
- The sand enamel surface is not ideal for dry cooking.
- Recommended oils to use are vegetable, rapeseed and sunflower oil.
- Never drag your product across a glass surface. Always lift to move to prevent damage.
- Oven and grill safe up to 260°C. Allow a minimum distance of 6.5cm when grilling.
- Always use oven gloves when handling hot products.
- Allow product to cool before cleaning. If washed too quickly thermal shock may occur, resulting in cracking or loss of enamel.
- Handwash recommended.
- Freezer compatible and dishwasher safe.
