Here's everything you need to know about Jellycat, our favourite range of plush toys. Jellycat was 10 in 2019. Dannell Gibbons, the President of Jellycat says the Brand is "a brand for all ages". It's hard not to find something in the range that you would adore.

Where is Jellycat designed?
Jellycat have designed in the UK since the beginning and continue to work with designers in London and around the country. The small range they launched with in 1999 was individual and most unusual, announcing ourselves as a soft toy creator with a difference. Since then we have continued to work hard to combine the coolest designs with the most luxurious of fabrics in the process creating thousands of wonderfully innovative soft toys. Why is Jellycat called Jellycat?
The company has explained that in 1999 when the brand was established the name was actually invented by a child, who loved cats and jellies and would dream and laugh of the thought of combining the two! Because of the creative designs, the name Jellycat was so perfect and such a great reflection of their soft toys.

Brothers Tom and Will Gatacre, Co-founder and Manager Director of Jellycat. It is a privately owned company.

Jellycat Ltd Westworks Building, 195 Wood Ln, London W12 7FQ but they also have an office in Minnesota.

Princess Charlotte owns a Fuddlewuddle Puppy and Suri Cruise had a Jellycat Bashful Beige Medium Bunny when she was small. Harper Beckham owns a Pink Bashful Soother and a Medium Pink Bashful Bunny.

Jellycat's network of stockists has grown considerably since the beginning. Not long after establishing themselves in the UK, Jellycat Inc was set up in Minneapolis in 2001. Why do Jellycat retire their designs?
To make room for lots of new creations, each season some Jellycat soft toys are retired from the collection. You are able to look up retired designs on the jellycat.com site. Meet old friends, no longer available to buy but we couldn't quite bring ourselves to say goodbye. Find your favourites! Make sure you purchased yours before they go out of stock.
